With temperatures (up here in the Northeast) still in the 40's, this wedding was the perfect one to see featured today! It definitely makes me excited for warmer weather & the chance to be out by the water again. I loved everything about this beautiful wedding. A huge thanks to The Knot for this stunning feature!

Before I start, I have to warn you all, I'm a little biased when it comes to this cutie. Baila is the daughter of one of my best friends & I'm pretty much obsessed with her. She is such a sweet girl with the cutest laugh & whose favorite hobby (at one year's old) seems to be walking. I'm positive she could outwalk the fittest individual in the country. :) Annnnd, if you let her, she could probably finish off an entire birthday cake by herself- one of the many reasons why I love her so much!

Getting to know couples like PJ & Liz is the main reason why I love engagement shoots so much. I felt like I had known them for years! They are such sweet people with incredibly big hearts who have the gift of bringing incredible joy to those around them. :)

I think my new favorite thing may just be winter engagement shoots! What other time of the year do you get to see what was once was a big, beautiful lake take on a totally new form as a perfectly smooth, icy surface? Winter can be peaceful and wonderful in it's own unique way. And let's not forget the added bonus of being able to cuddle up in big, warm blankets while sipping on delicious cups of hot chocolate; all of which there was an abundance of on Saturday! Judging by Pat & Kylee's smiles, I think a winter engagement shoot was a win for everyone. :)

I use to think Florida weather was crazy but I've quickly realized that Connecticut's climate is just as unpredictable. But luckily for this family shoot, the weather worked in our favor! I couldn't have asked for a more beautiful December day in the Northeast. The sun was shining & this wonderful family was together (from all over the world) for the Holidays; a good reason for big smiles & a lot of laughter!

I couldn't think of a better time to blog about this sweet friend! As we reflect on things we are grateful for, good friends are at the top of that list. Jill is not only a phenomenal photographer but one of my best friends and I was so excited to have the opportunity to take her head shots. She is one talented lady and it's been awesome to see her fulfill her dreams in photography. While you're recuperating from your tryptophan coma, I highly recommend heading over to her site & checking out her beautiful work!

This is one of my favorite families in the whole wide world. Daniela Christina was born a few months ago & I finally got to meet her for the first time recently. I instantly fell in love with her cute cheeks and sweet smile (how could you not?). She is such a joy to be around. The love shared in this family is eminent and I'm so thankful to have had the chance to capture it!

This year has been one of those years where I feel like I woke up one day and suddenly it's almost time to ring in the new year. It's a little insane to think we are already midway through October. And what's even harder to believe is that it's been a whole year since these two said their "I do's" and tied the knot. I was so excited to get to spend some time again with Julio and Darcy this past weekend. It's evident that they are still that fun-loving couple that can keep each other laughing. And what better way to capture that continued love than with a Fall Anniversary photo session?

As Stephen and Hope held hands & read their vows, I remember thinking how fitting it was that they were getting married at a place called My Moon. Because at that moment, it literally felt like we were miles away from the hustle and bustle of the city. And while that couldn't have been further from the truth, for that evening everyone who meant the world to them was all together & everything was perfect. For that day, it was their moon.
